As we approach the end of 2023 we at Petrosys | Interica can’t help but feel grateful for the journey we have shared with each of you. Every year time seems to fly by faster than the last, and it is in these moments I find it important to pause and reflect on all that has happened and take the opportunity to thank all of our customers, colleagues and partners for your continued support.

This year has been marked by exciting developments across our software offerings – Petrosys PRO, Interica OneView, dbMap, and GLOBEClaritas – and we are thrilled by the positive response from our valued customers. As part of our ongoing commitment to maximizing the value of your software investment, we’ve introduced numerous features aimed at enhancing your experience:
- Petrosys PRO: Introducing the X Section module for advanced visualization and the client-led Fault Statistics functionality.
- dbMap: Unveiling the new Seismic Viewer allowing users to view 2D & 3D seismic directly in the browser with real-time rotation and zooming.
- Interica OneView: Launching the new Segy connector, significant improvements to performance and security as well as enhancements to connectors for Petrel™, Kingdom™, DecisionSpace®, and PaleoScan™. The addition of the Seismic Viewer to IOV allows user to not only view 2D & 3D Seismic data but provides information on the Binary Header, EBCDIC header, and the Seismic traces in the file.
- GLOBEClaritas: Presenting the HR and UHR Receiver de-ghosting solution, designed specifically for high-resolution and ultra-high-resolution seismic datasets.
Venturing into New Horizons: Sustainability
We have expanded into new markets in 2023, making strides in CCS and Wind Energy, discover more in the white paper ‘Overcoming Subsurface Data Challenges in CCS’ as we showcase how Gulf Coast Sequestration (GCS), a prominent player in Carbon Sequestration, utilized the Petrosys dbMap Data Management Solution to address subsurface data challenges in CCS.
On our partner front, we were joined by ET Works in a webinar ‘Transforming Subsurface Data Management for Offshore Wind Companies’ – the video is available to watch on demand. Our solutions have a lot of value to offer in these areas and we are here to help you navigate through your data management challenges.
Celebrating 40 Years of Innovation: From 1984 to Present Day and Beyond!
Petrosys is approaching a big birthday in 2024 and we look forward to celebrating this 40th milestone achievement. In our four-decade journey, Petrosys has consistently led the way in geoscience and data management solutions evolving and adapting to become the software company we are today. Over the years we have expanded our horizons by developing and acquiring specialized software tailored for the energy industry, which integrates broadly with data across multiple vendors, driving high-level output and ease of decision-making for our clients.

In an era defined by seamless connections demanded by digital transformation and cloud initiatives, Petrosys I Interica stands as a beacon of innovation. Our unique strength lies in the power of connectivity, our ability to bridge gaps, and link disparate systems which is a testament to our commitment to integration and interoperability. Petrosys Exchange enables communication and data transfer between multiple third-party sources. This interoperability ensures that users can work with diverse data types and sources, promoting collaboration and flexibility in data management.
