dbMap 2023.1 new release

dbMap/Web V. 2023.1 Highlights

dbMap/Web V. 2023.1 delivers into the hands of our users significant new features and enhancements while in the background we have ensured the security of the software remains robust with infrastructure up-grades to the most current libraries.

Here are some of the main highlights of the release – to find out more read the full release notes.

Introducing the Seismic Viewer

The new Seismic Viewer allows you to view 2D and 3D seismic directly in the browser with real time rotation, zooming, and stepping through the in-lines and z-lines. EBCDIC and Trace headers can also be viewed.

The seismic viewer is available when you select a SEGY file that has been catalogued in Records Management and is a powerful tool for QC-ing data and confirming you are selecting the correct SEGY file. The SEGY data remains on the server and only the information needed to generate the current display in the browser is sent across the network. This avoids delays and large data transfers.
