Where do I go to get started and find more information about Petrosys version 17?
Learning to use any piece of software can be a daunting experience. Petrosys provides an enormous range of tools for managing and presenting EP data, but range often comes at the cost of accessibility, and it can be difficult to grasp the scope of the available tools if you aren’t sure of the fundamentals.
To help new users build the confidence required to gain a detailed understanding of Petrosys, a new edition of the Getting Started Guide has been produced to complement the user interface upgrade introduced in version 17.0.
The guide is a step by step introduction to the Petrosys software for absolute beginners, and covers the basic features and functionality of the Mapping, Surface Modelling and 3D visualization applications. It also provides an introduction to the structure of Petrosys projects, working with display lists and customizing the look and feel of the software to better suit beginning users. The guide is available from the Petrosys website www.petrosys.com.au/quick-start, and is also integrated into the Petrosys help – simply choose Getting Started from the contents.
