Petrosys the Mapping Guru today announced the official release of v16.4.1^ of our industry leading E&P mapping and surface modeling software.
Make sure you review the highlights section of our release notes to learn all about what’s new and improved!
Petrosys 16.4 includes the first release of the Petrosys plug-in for Petrel*, which helps integrate Petrel subsurface models with data from other Petrosys connected applications in a presentation quality mapping framework. Improved direct access to irregular surfaces has also allowed us to make direct use of the triangulated surfaces stored in GoCad* tri-surf files.
Petrosys dbMap sites can now spatially index their PPDM well and seismic and dbMap lease information to provide seamless access to this information from dbMap and other GIS views.
Petrosys’ ongoing investment in supporting the use of raster imagery has now been extended with an interactive georeferencing tool. The release also adds the ability to directly display ZGF data.
The first results of our redevelopment of the Kriging and geostatistics functionality in Petrosys have started to flow through to our gridding options.
Petrosys connectivity continues to keep abreast with other industry standard applications. In Petrosys 16.4 SMT Kingdom* support is up to SMT version 8.2, and GeoFrame* support has been upgraded to GF version 4.4 on RedHat EL4 and EL5 Linux platforms.
