“Mapping guru” Petrosys has integrated the proven mapping capabilities of its software with the geophysical workflows of SeisWare seismic interpretation software from Zokero, laying the groundwork for quicker, easier and better decisions by oil and gas geoscientists.

Petrosys Global Sales and Marketing Manager Scott Tidemann said the Petrosys integration with SeisWare enhances the ability of geoscientists to make better decisions. “Integration increases the decision-making efficiency, reliability and effectiveness for exploration and development teams, by giving them access to the right data at the right time,” he said.

This first phase of integration is available in Petrosys v16.6, which will be on show at the C3Geo conference in Calgary. This allows the import of well data, 2d/3d seismic navigation and interpretation data from SeisWare projects for use in Petrosys mapping and modeling. Petrosys provides sophisticated and integrated surface modeling tools so users can compute complex subsurface structures that take faults, discontinuities and a variety of input data sources into account – quickly, easily and accurately.
