The eagerly awaited direct connections to Paradigm™ Epos® 2D and 3D seismic navigation and interpretation data lead the list of features in Petrosys 16.9, which has just been released for production use.

The Epos link allows direct mapping, gridding, and import of Epos data in Petrosys running on 64-bit Linux platforms, and was built to meet the immediate needs of clients in the USA, Malaysia and Australia.

Other extensions to Petrosys direct connectivity in 16.9 include direct access to seismic interpretation from SeisWare for gridding in Petrosys, as well as direct display of SeisWare 3D bin grids.

Petrel connectivity has been upgraded to Petrel 2010.2, with very significant speed improvements on reading of seismic interpretation for use in Petrosys.
