GLOBEClaritas Licensing

Our licensing is based on the processing capacity your business needs. Extend or upgrade your licence type or capacity as and when you need to, with the option of combining leasing of additional licences with a subscription or a purchase option to cover a change in requirements.
UltraLite The UltraLite license is a single user, subscription based license designed to help lower the barriers to entry into the seismic processing market. The license is limited to a 125,000 trace count, however applications (such as SV and CVA) are not trace-limited.
Lite The Lite license is designed for a single user to carry out Quality Control (QC) and simple processing of 2D marine or 2D land data.  It includes the Job Control System (JCS) production tools, but parallel processing is not enabled.
Workstation   The Workstation+ licence is designed for seismic processing projects with small scale processing demand; this might be a land 2D survey, small land 3D surveys or smaller 2D marine projects. It allows a single user to run multiple applications and job flows, utilising only a single screen (or set of screens) for display. Parallel processing capabilities are enabled and can be utilised on up to eight (8) cores.
WorkstationPro+*   A license type designed for all mid-scale projects. A WorkstationPro+ licence allows a single user to run multiple applications and job flows, utilising only a single screen (or set of screens) for display. Parallel processing capabilities are enabled and can be utilised on up to sixty-four (64) cores.
Cluster * This product provides a large scale parallel processing capability for large volumes of data, and high CPU requirement 2D/3D projects. A Cluster licence allows a single user to run multiple applications and job flows, utilising only a single screen (or set of screens) for display. Parallel processing capabilities are enabled and can be utilised on 512 cores.
Enterprise An Enterprise licence allows for up to six (6) users to work with GLOBEClaritas™ at a single site˟˟. Remote interactive use is allowed, only if the user’s usual place of work is the site. Multiple applications and job flows may be run, utilising a screen (or set of screens) per user. Parallel processing capabilities are enabled and can be utilised on 1024 cores.

˟˟A site is defined as a particular geographic location where a licence server operates, and the systems used for large scale processing are based.
Academic The Academic licence is heavily discounted and is targeted at not-for-profit Research and Academic Institutions. It may not be used for commercial processing contracts, paid consultancy, or commercial training courses without express permission. It provides for up to twenty (20) users, and an unlimited number of CPUs/cores at a single site.

Note that the UltraLite licence is ONLY available on annual subscription. The Lite, Workstation+, WorkstationPro+, and Cluster licenses also have an annual subscription option, or can be purchased outright.

GLOBEClaritas™ is supported on the following operating systems:

The standalone iMage platform is supported on the following operating systems:

  • RHEL7 (64-bit)
  • RHEL8 (64-bit)
  • UBUNTU 20.04 (64-bit)
  • UBUNTU 22.04 (64-bit)

We actively develop and/or test on these systems, maintain physical machines, and conduct in depth functionality testing for each release.
