1. How do I pay for the course?

Non-Australian clients can pay by credit card. Australian clients will need to contact Petrosys head office on (08) 8227 2799 (within Adelaide business hours) or email training@petrosys.com.au to book the training. Payment can be taken over the phone.

2. Why is there a different price/sign-up for Australia and Non-Australian?

Due to Australian taxation laws, Australian clients must be charged Goods & Services Tax (GST) and be provided with a tax invoice compliant with Australian laws. At present, this needs to be processed through our Adelaide head office.

3. If I am a non-Australian based customer, but do not wish to pay using the on-line credit card facility, can I pay via other means?

4. Can I get a discount if I’m registering a group of people?

During the introductory discount period, the discount offers very good value and precludes the possibility of bulk discounts.

5. Will I miss anything valuable by not attending the classroom training?

Appropriate training depends to some extent on an individual’s preferred “learning style” and our face-to-face training is appreciated by many for this reason. However the content of the online course has been carefully designed to replicate our face-to-face classroom-based training so you won’t miss out on any key subject matter. 6. Is there any publicly available quality evaluation data that I could access to understand whether this course has been well rated or not, before I commit my payment?

Currently there is no publicly available evaluation as this is a new offering. However, once we receive reviews and feedback, we will make them available.

7. My company is no longer paying for annual maintenance licences, but I would still like to complete the course, is this possible?

Yes, the courses are open to anyone who wishes to take them. While you are taking the course, you will have access to suppport@petrosys.com.au to help with training matters.

8. What do I need to complete the course?

All that is required is a computer, or tablet with good internet connection.

9. I’ve registered. What next?

You will receive an email following sign-up containing your login and instructions – simply follow the directions in the email to get started. Before you begin, you can also watch our video ‘Introducing Online Training’ which gives a brief overview on how to use the online format.

10. Can more than one person use my login?

No, each login is for one unique user, as stated in the terms and conditions of purchase.

11. How long do I have to finish the course?

The course login is valid for 3 months, although we would expect most interested users to have completed much sooner. This will, of course, depend on individuals’ workloads and other commitments. If you have trouble completing it within this time, please contact your local Petrosys office or support@petrosys.com.au for assistance.

12. What do I do if I have technical difficulties or require help?

Please contact us at support@petrosys.com.au or call your local Petrosys office (refer to the telephone numbers above for each office) for assistance.

13. Do I have to complete the course in one session, or can I come in and out over several weeks and complete over time?

You can break the course up into its modules and complete them at your leisure within the 3 month timeframe allowed for the whole course. You can just pick up where you left off next time you login.

14. How long should it take to complete each module, and the entire course?

The whole course takes approximately 4 – 6 hours to complete, depending on the user. The course is split up into modules which should take less than 40 minutes each to complete. You can complete as many modules as you like in one sitting, and pick up where you left off next time.

15. Do I need to pass the various “Quiz” modules before progressing to the following module?

No, you can do the course in any order you choose, however, you do need to pass the quizzes to complete the course and receive your certificate.

16. What if I can’t complete the course?

Please contact Petrosys to discuss any concerns prior to the cut-off date so that we can assist in these circumstances.

17. Can I get a certificate to show I’ve completed the training?

Yes, on completion of the course you will be provided with a link to download your certificate.

18. When/how will I get my certificate?

You will have the option to download the certificate upon successful completion of the course.

19. In which languages is the course?

The course is currently provided in English.

20. My English is limited. Will I be able to follow the course?

The course has simple step-by-step instructions with audio that can be replayed to assist people who have a non-English speaking background.

21. I’ve completed this course, are there other more advanced online courses?

We currently have classroom courses scheduled for more advanced topics.
